Jan Steinsdörfer

Jan, as a classically and jazz trained pianist he has won several awards, such as the Czech Jazz Contest in 2013 with his jazz trio and came second in solo jazz competition in Freiburg, Germany the following year. In the years 2009 till 2018 he lead the pop singer Ewa Farna’s band. He cowrote Lake Malawi’s song Friend of a friend which charted at the 11th position in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2019. He also composes music for commercials and recorded or cowrote many songs for artists such as: Mel C, Tomáš Klus, Xindl X, Lenny, Karel Gott, Vladimír Mišík, Jan Smigmator, Michal Horáček or for bands Mirai or Vesna.
