The Light of Christmas

Light of Christmas combines both traditional and modern Christmas melodies in original arrangements by the legendary Jan Steinsdörfer (collaborating with Ewa Farna, Pokáč, and the bands Chinaski, Mirai, and others), bringing audiences a truly festive atmosphere.The evocative string sounds transport listeners into the magical world of Christmas, filled with peace and fairy-tale charm. The program features music from beloved Czech films and fairy tales that are inseparably linked to the holiday season: Tři oříšky pro Popelku, Prstýnek from Princezna se zlatou hvězdou, Sluneční hrob and Čerešně (featured in Pelíšky). It also includes the beautiful song Srdce nehasnou, recorded by the quartet with Karel Gott, as well as numerous other film songs and traditional Czech carols.
