Barbora Mochowa

Czech singer and songwriter whose music is characterized by its dreamy yet grand atmosphere. In her work, she draws inspiration from cosmic themes and mythical beings such as fairies, will-o’-the-wisps, or water spirits, bringing their stories into the modern world.

She first caught the attention of a wider audience in the Czech national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest with her songs True Colors and White & Black Holes, where she received 1st place from the international jury. Her latest album Will-o’-the-Wisp earned her a nomination for Newcomer of the Year at the Czech Music Awards Ceny Anděl 2023.

Live, Barbora Mochowa draws listeners into her magical musical world – performing with her band and electronics, or in an extended version featuring a string quartet.
