Hipox

Hipox combines more than 25 years of experience playing the violin with modern open format DJing. He tailors the musical programme to the character of each event, from elegant violin entrances during the welcome drink or dinner to an energetic DJ + violin show right on the dance floor. As a DJ and violinist he has performed at more than 200 events.

His DJ sets don't follow a fixed playlist. He shapes the selection of tracks and the direction of the evening in real time, based on the crowd's reactions and the atmosphere on the dance floor. He connects different generations and musical styles through creative transitions, mashups and remixes. He naturally weaves live violin into the set, from prepared virtuoso parts to improvisation over the tracks currently playing. During his violin segments he moves among the guests, carrying the energy of the performance straight onto the dance floor.

Hipox is a great fit for weddings, corporate events, gala evenings, balls, fashion shows and private celebrations.

Beyond his event work, he has a number of notable musical achievements to his name. He has accompanied Ben Cristovao, performed with the Dresden Sinfoniker in Saudi Arabia, and reached the finals of the popular competition Das Supertalent. His event clients include Porsche, Philip Morris and Tullamore.
